The artist Michael Aaron Williams was raised in Knoxville, TN, but you can see his street art all over the world. He’s big on God but that doesn’t come through in the work, except for the fact that he doesn’t deface anything in his pursuit to give away his (sometimes) photo realistic graffiti. In fact he tapes it to the wall so anyone anywhere lucky enough to find a piece can take it home and enjoy it. A thoroughly nice guy by the sounds of it.
What I really like about his street art is the fact that many pieces are designed to suit the setting to perfection. In some works people are drawn/painted to scale and at first appearance look very much like an everyday event on the street. The running theme seems to be poverty with plenty of homeless guys and street urchins abound.
