The Mini has lots of paint options to chose from but one Mini in Hamburg has had a one of a kind paint job. The legendary New York street artist Craig “KR” Costello has painted a Mini in his trade mark style.
His style is known as the KRINK (from KR-INK) dripping ink look. The black Mini was covered in the silver dripping paint, its body as well as the side and rear windows. Accompanied by the “Erste Liebe Film” and captured by photographer Ali Salehi.
Craig “KR” Costello became known in the 90′s art scene with his dripping silver paint style, leading to the KRINK brand. His work can be seen in cities around the world, in building entrances, on walls, underground stations and street signs.
Experimenting with homemade paint his product evolved in to the range it is today, initially it was limited and handed out to friends. But now consists of a wide range of special markers and inks that enjoy a cult status.
